The road to hell is paved and slopes gently downward, sign-posted that it leads to heaven. 
The road to heaven is a narrow winding path of rocks and stones, steeply climbing up to the clouds, hiding all its challenges and treasures. 
The road to hell is wide to handle the masses, but the heavenly path is very narrow, it need not be wider.
